A cool story of discovery and collaboration
We had posted a call out on our V-Belt Cross Referencing Facebook Group and CrossBelts page looking for help with. We originally thought it was a Yardmax snowblower auger belt part number, 4LXP960.
However, after the belt was removed from the snowblower, it turned out to be different number. The v-belt was marked Gates Truflex G 4LXP885, not the 4LXP960 per the manual.
A Gates 6835 belt was installed. Belt cardboard sleeve says belt is 1/2" x 35", 12.5/13mm x 890mm. The information has been posted on the Yardmax section of the website. We hope this may help someone else in the future.
The best part of all of this is, he got the belt he needed and received excellent customer service.
