Wedge V-Belts

Wedge V-belts are a type of power transmission belt designed with a narrower and deeper profile compared to classical V-belts. This design allows for higher power transmission in a compact space, as the wedge shape provides greater surface contact with the pulley grooves, resulting in improved grip and efficiency. The increased depth of the belt enhances its ability to wedge into the pulley, reducing slippage and increasing the power that can be transmitted over a smaller surface area.

Constructed from durable materials such as rubber or synthetic polymers and reinforced with high-strength fibers, wedge V-belts are capable of handling high tension without stretching or losing their shape. Their design makes them particularly suitable for applications requiring high power transmission efficiency, such as HVAC systems, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment.
